Welcome to Cohen Judaica. These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our webshop www.cohenjudaica.nl  and govern the relationship between us and private consumers worldwide. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Order Process

For items that are on stock, orders can be placed directly through the Webshop. After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. Please read it through carefully to make sure all details are correct.

Items that are not in stock, are clearly marked with ‘available on backorder’. To order these items, please contact us directly via e-mail or phone. When payment has been received, we will order the items for you.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in Euro including Dutch VAT for our Dutch customers only. Please note that, depending on local tax rules, additional taxes or import duties may be applicable for customers outside the Netherlands, See #5 on Taxes and import duties.

We accept the following payment methods:, Ideal (for Dutch customers), and creditcard for customers outside the Netherlands.

Payment is made in full when an order is being placed on the website. For orders placed directly with us, payment must be received before shipment unless otherwise agreed.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Items that are on stock will be shipped within 2 days after ordering. Shipping costs are visible during checkout and are paid in full upon placing an order.

Delivery times are estimates and never guaranteed. Cohen Judaica is not responsible for delays caused by customs or local postal services.

We ship worldwide and always with Track & Trace. If a package does not arrive within the estimated delivery time, please contact us so that we can check its whereabouts. Please note that we cannot chase or speed up delivery.

Risk of loss and damage passes to you upon delivery.

5. Taxes and Import Duties

Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties, taxes, and/or customs fees. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Cohen Judaica is not responsible for delays or costs resulting from customs clearance procedures.

6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Under the Right of Withdrawal (EU customers), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us at info@cohenjudaica.nl  and send the item(s) back to us within 14 days of notifying us Return shipping costs are at your expense. For high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Products must be returned unused, in original condition and packaging. We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days after receiving the returned goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalized items.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless we made an error.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description. We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

9. Warranty and Defects

As a consumer, you are entitled to a statutory two-year warranty on all products. If an item is faulty or not as described, we will repair, replace, or refund it.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

10. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the product in question.

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

11. Privacy and Data Protection

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

For EU consumers, any disputes can be submitted to the competent Dutch court, or through the European ODR Platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
